The Greentree financial suite of modules provides all the core needs of a Not-for-Profit.  The General Ledger can be designed with up to sixteen segments to match the branch and departmental structure of any Not-For-Profit, and in addition to this flexibility, Greentree’s Transaction Analysis functionality allows for an even greater granular analysis of transactions below the GL Account level.

Of course, the suite includes Cashbook, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules that have features such as Direct Debit receipting, EFT payments, emailing of documents to external parties etc. included.

MYOB Greentree has a very flexible Chart of Account structure, but in addition to this, Greentree allows the tagging of transactions based on the GL Account they are posted to.  So for example, any account(s) that are associated with the receiving of grants can be flagged as needing the transactions to be tagged with the source of those funds.
Using this functionality Not-For-Profit can overlay the Chart of Accounts with an unlimited number of analytical dimensions.  This allows:

  • All funding to be tracked by the source of the funds be the source specific Grants, Donations, etc
  • Similarly the expenditure of funds be tracked.
  • Greentree can even track costs associated with specific individuals, projects, or assets.
With this data stored within Greentree, statutory, management, and other third party reporting requirements can easily be done directly out of Greentree.

This is all simply done in the General ledger with no need to implement complex Job Costing or Project Management solutions.

Occupational Health and Safety plays an increasingly important part of modern business, and especially so than in the Not-For-Profit sector.  For smaller organisations simple Incident Reporting is that is required and for larger organisations the requirement extends to a comprehensive incident process management solution to ensure every incident is processed consistently and completely based on the category and severity of the incident.

Simple Incident Reporting can be managed within the MYOB Greentree Occupational Health and Safety module, but when combined with Greentree’s Business Process Management and Service modules Greentree is able to apply consistent and comprehensive standards and reporting to any organisations OH&S policy.

This allows all of the following to be based on incident category and severity:
